Who

The France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen (France-Wallonia-Flanders) programme: French and Belgian regions working together to remove the border! Its aim is to facilitate economic and social exchanges between four border regions: Hauts-de-France and Grand Est in France, and Wallonia and West and East Flanders in Belgium, as well as combine shared expertise while promoting the richness of each of the regions concerned, for the benefit of the communities of these regions.

What

€170 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) will be allocated to the programme to support projects under the following four cooperation themes:

• Research, innovation, and technology transfer
• Competitiveness of SMEs
• Heritage, natural resources, and risk management
• Social cohesion, health, training, and employment
